Would you like to get involved in playwork? Our entry level courses consist of taster sessions to help you explore playwork. These sessions can be tailor-made to your personal or group needs, or you could choose from an off the shelf course.

"Introduction to Playwork" is a 15 hour introductory course (comprising of six sessions of two and a half hours each), which includes the nationally recognised Playwork Induction Standard. The course has six main topic areas which are:

• Play and playwork
• Supporting children's play
• Teamwork
• Health and safety
• Child protection
• Building relationships

To obtain the nationally recognised certificate, participants will also be expected to do a 10 hour placement in a play setting.
