NVQ Level 2 & 3

Many playworkers are looking for a qualification for the job role they are already doing. The NVQ level two qualification is for playworkers who work under supervision, whereas the NVQ Level Three qualification is for co-ordinators / leaders / deputy co-ordinators with overall responsibility. Both these courses have an 18 week core theory training with a two year assessment. You are well supported by assessors who help you continuously throughout the award. The next step is the NVQ Level Four qualification. This is still an NVQ but you need to be in a managerial role to complete the work. This programme has a ten week theory training and a two year assessment.
