OSN's mission statement is "To develop quality universal out of school playcare to meet the needs of children and their carers across Sheffield".

We have four strategic aims:

1. To develop and support out of school providers in Sheffield to establish, manage and deliver quality inclusive playcare provision. To increase capacity and improve sustainability including financial stability in low-income areas.

2. To increase the quality of out of school provision by supporting workforce and management development and promoting quality assurance.

3. To influence and participate in the development of the out of school sector with key partners and networks in Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

4. To be a well-run organisation ensuring fitness for purpose and building long term sustainability.
