Finding the services and care that your child needs can be a daunting task. Sheffield Children's Information Service (CIS) is a city-wide charity offering a free and fast service for parents and carers. They provide up to date, accurate information and guidance about childcare, playcare, early years education and other children's services.

See the CIS website for a general introduction to the range of childcare, playcare and early years' education options or to access a range of Factsheets in PDF format. The organisation also have information on family support and leisure activities, and produce a 'What's On' publication for each of the school holidays. Whatever your query about children's services, CIS will try to help or signpost you to another organisation who can.
