Training

The Out of School Network Training Team are dedicated to offering high quality training within the Playwork sector. We have been delivering Playwork training for over 17 years and recently won the Best NVQ Assessment Centre 2010 at the National Playwork Awards held in Eastbourne.

We are an accredited centre with City and Guilds and Cache and have occupationally competent staff to ensure high quality training is delivered. We offer individual support and guidance to ensure you achieve your accredited qualification or learning goal. The Training Team at OSN have years of experience in delivering high quality training to playworkers and others involved in caring for children and all our staff are highly qualified and occupationally competent.

We offer a huge range of training from accredited formal qualifications to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and short courses.

Our training programme should have everything you need to motivate you, excite you and fill you with so much enthusiasm that you cannot wait to try things out at your club or do more courses and become a playwork junkie!

It might even encourage you to want to train to become a playwork assessor or trainer! Remember, volunteering at a holiday playscheme or after school club is just the first step. With our training programme and your ability and passion for playwork, we can help you to fulfil your true potential in moving towards a fantastic new profession . . . .Playwork!

We offer bespoke training to groups and organisations, delivering specific programmes which meet your staff development needs. This can be arranged in the Training rooms at OSN or delivered out at your site. Prices are available after discussion, and depend on your needs
